Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🍎Behaviors🍎
🍎 Cats: not phased when cats walk outside past window. Never tested with an indoor cat but likely would be curious yet cautious.
🍎 Other dogs: He does love to play and cuddle with his foster fur siblings. He likes all dogs both big and small! He would do best in a home with a doggy sibling because he loves to cuddle so much. He always sleeps cuddled up to his big sister Ramona the chug,
🍎 Children: never tested around small children but he is so gentle so I imagine he would do fine as long as no quick and sudden movements as he still is somewhat timid.
🍎 Adults: great! He loves everyone! However, he is shy at first and doesn’t like to be approached quickly. He is still learning to trust. However, he will melt in your arms when cuddles are initiated. I’ve never had a dog cuddle quit as sweetly as this little guy. He just goes dead weight and closes his eyes and nuzzles in. It’s the best feeling ever.
🍎 Potty Training Progress: he is progressing! He recently learned that it’s not so scary to go potty outside. He potties every time we go outside, however, he still wears a belly band inside, just in case. He will hold his potty in his crate all thru the night. It will be no time at all, and this little guy will be potty trained, because He really is so so smart! As of now, I’d say he’s about 85% of the way there:-)
🍎 Other behavioral info: Jonathon is such a special boy who likes to just chill most of the time but when it’s play time, he can hang with the best of them. Not an aggressive or dominant bone in his body. He just wants to have fun and is so fun to watch. He learns so fast and is so very smart, he amazes me with all he has picked up in his two short weeks with us. Jonathon is learning how to walk on Leash, but has not yet mastered it, so a Fenced in yard would be ideal for him. Also, he will sleep all through the night in his crate as long as he can see his human and/or fur sibling. In time I don’t see him needing a crate, because again, he is so cuddly and loves to snuggle so I imagine his choice will be in bed with his human.
Jonathon will need occasional grooming, as his coat will get super floofy and he has the poodle eye goop, so that will need cleaned daily by his human and then spiffed up by the groomer at his every 4-6wk visits. . He does okay with baths and will sit still for a short haircut if his adopter knows how to do that. He is hypo allergenic.
🍎 Great things about Jonathon: a little guy who just wants to cuddle and melt in with all the loves. He is so smart and will be easy to train once all of his fears are long gone. He never complains and is so chill. He simply wants to play with his fur friends, take long naps, be snuggled and eat a little here and there! He is a dream pup!
