My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, fellow lovers of all things magical and whimsical! I am Hufflepuff, a charming brown tabby with a heart as loyal as a house-elf and a spirit as kind as a gentle spell. Life's enchanting journey has led me to seek a new chapter-a forever home where my loyalty and affection can blossom like the finest mandrakes. With my devoted nature and a touch of Harry Potter wonder, I promise to bring a bit of Hogwarts magic to your world.

My coat is adorned with intricate tabby patterns, reminiscent of the hidden passages and secret corridors of Hogwarts. But it's not just my appearance that holds magic; it's the loyalty I offer, much like the steadfast students of Hufflepuff House. I'm here to be your loyal companion, accompanying you on life's adventures with a heart full of devotion.

When it comes to companionship, I'm a true friend who will stand by your side through thick and thin. Much like the Marauder's Map, I'm skilled at understanding your needs and providing comfort with my presence. The gentle touch of your hand is my happiest spell, and my purrs are like a soothing potion that eases all worries.

My gentle and affectionate nature extends to both humans and other pets. I'm ready to form bonds that are as unbreakable as the bonds of friendship at Hogwarts. Whether you're a Gryffindor seeking a loyal partner or a Ravenclaw drawn to my calming aura, I'm here to create a magical bond that will warm your heart.

What I truly desire is a forever home-a place where my loyalty can thrive, and my heart can find its true home. If you're ready to embark on a journey with a feline companion who embodies the spirit of Hufflepuff, I'm here, waiting for you to be my treasured companion.

Go meet their pets

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.

We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue

Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
