My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, fabulous feline enthusiasts! I'm Milano, the gray tabby extraordinaire, here to share my purr-sonality with you. Picture a dashing cat with a sleek gray coat, stunning eyes, and a knack for making everyone chuckle - that's me in a nutshell!

Let's kick things off with my social prowess. I'm not just good with other cats; I'm the life of the kitty party. Whether it's a playful romp or a cozy cuddle session, I'm the purr-fect companion for all my fellow feline friends. And guess what? I've got the magic touch when it comes to getting along with those four-legged canines too. Dogs, beware - Milano is in the house!

Now, let's talk about one of my absolute favorite pastimes - eating. I'm not just a food lover; I'm a gourmet adventurer. From delectable treats to sumptuous meals, my taste buds are always ready for a culinary journey. Mealtime with Milano is a feast for the senses, and I'm always game for trying something new.

But hold on, life isn't all about playdates and feasts; it's also about the art of the catnap. I've mastered the art of napping, and you'll often find me in the coziest spots, enjoying my beauty sleep. Soft blankets, warm sunbeams, and a hint of catnip - that's my recipe for the purr-fect nap.

Now, let's talk about my secret weapon - my funny expressions. I've got a whole repertoire of looks that will leave you in stitches. Whether it's the classic wide-eyed stare or the sly half-smile, I know how to keep things interesting. Life with Milano is a daily comedy show, and I'm the star!

So, if you're on the lookout for a handsome gray tabby with a social charm, a love for gourmet delights, a nap aficionado, and a master of funny expressions, look no further - I'm Milano, and I'm ready to bring laughter and joy into your world!

Go meet their pets

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.

We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue

Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
