My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you remember Corky? The courageous little pup who faced surgery with unwavering determination after being hit by a car in Salinas? Well, we're thrilled to share that Corky has fully recovered and is now available for adoption! Corky's infectious spirit and unwavering love are bound to bring immeasurable joy to the lucky household that welcomes him. He's seeking a loving family with adult adopters or children over the age of six, and they should be committed to continuing positive socialization efforts with him.

Corky is currently in foster care and meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online dog application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
