My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Cody. I'm an 8 year old, 12.5 lb, gold and white Shih Tzu boy. I have a great disposition - I love everyone I meet - human and canine. I love to snuggle and be close to you. I sleep in the 'big bed' with my foster parents and I hope I can sleep with you, too. I do have some anxiety and sometimes need to be reassured that I'm OK. I take a half tablet of calming meds once a day and I'm good. I'm working on house training, and do well if I'm taken out often. I walk well on a leash, and have learned to do stairs! I need a quiet home, because some noises scare me. My new family should have someone at home during the day, to take me out and help me finish my house training, and another small dog to help me learn. Cody was released from a breeding facility in March - everything is still new for him, and he's done very well in his foster homes. This sweet Tzu boy is fostering in Maryland.
