My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cocoa is the sweetest girl. She is a 3–4yo English Bulldog. She was rescued from a breeder that forced her to have several litters. Thankfully we were able to save her and helped her take her "no more puppies" pledge. Cocoa is such a good girl. She is potty and crate trained and loves to go on walks. She is very good on a leash and does not pull. She is currently in a foster home with 4 other dogs, a cat, and a pet bird! She loves them all! She loves to follow her foster mom around the house and thinks it fun to cram herself into her Chihuahua sister’s tiny little crate! She is a silly girl! Cocoa has been around many kids from 5-12 years old and does well with all ages. Cocoa is such an easy-going girl who would do well with a single owner who gives her lots of attention or a family.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.

All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
