Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rosie is a three year old purebred, mini Australian Shepherd. She is a delightful family dog. She likes to travel, hike and kayak. See her picture standing on the kayak. And yes, she is an Aussie with a tail!!
She is great with close family and and loves to play with kids. She is reliably house trained and very clean.
She has dog friends that she loves to run and wrestle with. At doggie day care, she does fine with other dogs.
We are an elderly couple that can’t give her the activity level she needs. Rosie goes for walks but most of the time is confined to our small yard and house. We often have grandchildren at our house who forget to close the gate, enabling Rosie to escape. We are unable to give her the exercise she needs to be happy.
She sometimes becomes over protective and territorial. She can be reactive with new people and dogs.
I think she needs to find a home where she can have a high activity level and expend her energy .
