Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome boy is “Buddy”. Buddy is a lovable male Brindle Boxer. He has lived with other dogs in the past but has not been socialized with dogs in a few years. It currently appears that buddy does NOT do well with other dogs, but once he has been placed in a foster home and we get to know him better, we will re-evaluate his social skills with other dogs. For now, Buddy will need to be placed as the “only dog” until we get to know him better. He knows his basic commands and listens well. Buddy is a strong Boxer with a lot of energy, so we will be looking to place him in a home with a fully fenced in yard or with a home that is willing to work with him on “leash walking.” He is good with children, but because of his strength, size and energy we will only place him in a home with older children 10+. He is NOT good with cats. Buddy is currently not crated but does fine in an area of the house when home alone. Please check back for updates once we get him situated into a foster home.
Update: Buddy is one of the sweetie Boxers I have had the pleasure of spending time with. He loves to give Boxer kisses and when he sees someone he is fond of, he will do a full 360 in the air for you! This boy is ALL BOXER! when walking Buddy, he does pull a little, but he listens excellent and we have been working on the heal command which he is doing great with. Buddy just wants to please. He is NOT good with bigger dogs and he get's overly excited when he does see one, so he will need "work" in this area. Check back at http://www.theboxerrescue.org for more updates on Buddy as we get to know him better in his foster home.
