Snuggly goofball alert!
Felix is a gorgeous guy who turned two years old in September and is looking for his forever family!
He is independent and loves being outside in a fenced yard or on his leash. He needs a family member who can take him on a daily walk or run.
Felix loves a fenced-in yard and will stay in it without any worries. In his foster home, he uses a doggie door, but he can easily be trained to use whatever potty system works for his new family.
Felix is fond of other furry friends who LOVE to wrestle around. After playing, Felix is always ready for a good nap. Hard bones and chews are Felix's favorite toys. He is also a squeaky toy enthusiast who spends time inspecting their quality and workmanship both inside and out!
Felix is a patient guy who is not treat-motivated unless the treat is REALLY special.
While Felix enjoys sleeping in his kennel, so you can still have your bed all to yourself, he could easily adjust to co-sleeping.
Every evening, Felix cuddles up on his foster dad's lap, and he is a gentle little giant at 60 pounds. He will also give kisses once he gets to know you. Felix loves to play with other dog pals and would do best in a home with another dog. He also loves to be around older kids and would make an excellent backyard buddy for kids over the age of 8 or so. Felix does not get along with cats, so his new home should be feline-free.
According to his doggie DNA test his previous owner had done, Felix is a shepherd mix with some Great Pyrenees thrown in there. No matter the percentages, Felix is one hundred percent happy mutt!
