My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Olive. She is a fiesty, happy little girl. She walks well on a leash (and thoroughly enjoys her walks), loves to eat, housebroken, and sleeps much of the day away in her bed or on the couch. She came to rescue covered in filth and mats. That gave her a skin condition that required several months of treatment and recovery. But she is ready to go now. Her new adopter(s) will get the pleasure of watching her bald spots disappear! Many of those spots have fuzz on them already but a couple may ultimately remain hairless. She is only 6 pounds and cute as a button so, on walks, be prepared to hear over and over "oh, look at her...so cute". When she comes across dogs on walks, she is so excited she almost comes across aggressive. But when she gets face to face, she is so happy to meet them! Given the shape she was in when she came to us, it appears she has had a tough time in the past. She is still coming out of her shell and learning to trust. I have had the pleasure of caring for her for a couple of months thru her skin problem and she has come to trust me. It has been such a pleasure to watch. She plays with me, happy to see me, lets me put meds on, etc.
She still has food aggression but, again, given her trust of me, I am now able to take her food without a problem.
