I need a family with high energy dog experience. ~ I have some special needs but still have lots of life to live and love to give. Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with me.
Sandy is a staff favorite and even got dubbed the "best office dog"! As young and high energy as Sandy can be, he also shows great manners in the office and works hard at being the best boy. Recently Sandy was diagnosed with heartworm, which meant he had to undergo some serious treatment. While he finishes healing from heartworm he needs to take it easy. Unfortunately this means no rough play, hikes in the woods, or running. However, these are short term restrictions, so Sandy isn't too bummed out about it. Instead, he works on his training, getting lots of treat puzzles and hangs out with his favorite people! In a few months, once he gets cleared by a Vet, Sandy will be good as new and ready to rock and roll! If you are ready to help him finish this journey, please apply to meet him today!
