Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I have had Murphy since he was 4 months old, and I have done lots of training. While he is a great dog when he is an environment where he is comfortable, he is VERY anxious in new situations and around new people. I have been able to move the needle on it to help with his overall quality of life, and he is a great dog in the right circumstances. His anxiety around new people, however, is bleeding into our other dog we got a year ago. If I just needed/wanted a family dog, it would be manageable. He is a sweet pup. But I work with seniors with Alzheimer’s, and I need a therapy dog in the work I do. My Husky was my companion in my work until she retired and then passed. Our new dog has the potential to be a therapy dog, but the longer she is around Murphy, the more she becomes uncomfortable around strangers. The choice I have come to is that I cannot go another possible 10+ years without a therapy dog. I need to change the situation in my home and find a home where Murphy is a better fit.
