My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please please please help us find fosters for this sweet puppy! You can call 757 653 6440

Danny was pulled from the Duplin County shelter on his last day and he is now enjoying life to the hilt! He loves being outside and basking in the sun. Every day brings new joy to sweet Danny! He is about 13 weeks old, 20 pounds and so much fun in all his puppyhood glory!

The dog scanner lists him as plott hound mixes but whatever their blend, he is a very sweet puppy! I had the privilege of spending an afternoon with him and he is a sweetheart and such a pleasure. Adorable pup who tries to please. He was fine around my dogs.

He loves to cuddle with humans and thrive on attention. He is learning commands and have already mastered the stairs. Best of all, Danny will bark when he has to go out.

He has such great potential and has proven to be very smart. If you are interested in fostering Danny, please respond to this message or email adoptionsecondchance@gmail.com. Our rescue will provide a dog crate, dog food, leash, collar and any other items they may need during foster care.

Can you help us, please with this sweet baby?

More about this rescue

Second Chance Habitat:
We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned animals in harms' way find humane, life affirming alternatives to "euthanasia"; we save healthy, loving, adoptable dogs whose days are numbered in stressful, crowded high kill shelters in the surrounding area; we care for feral and unadoptable cats in our one of a kind, cage free, safe-haven sanctuary in Chesapeake VA.
