Thank goodness for my new foster home! My previous family was not able to care for me properly and after two years in limbo, living outdoors with little shelter from the bitter cold Kansas winters I have finally found a cozy place to settle in. Please don't make me tell you about the frostbite I endured in a very sensitive area or the beating I received with a hammer from a mean neighbor after I escaped my kennel.
Needless to say my life has vastly improved over the past month and I am thankful everyday for the simple comforts that I now enjoy.
If I do say so myself, I am a very good boy. I am affectionate, sweet natured and quite handsome. Some might say I am a gentle giant. I love to play and be silly but am usually very calm and collected. I really missed playing with doggy friends and am definitely making up for lost time.
I currently spend my days in the backyard romping around with my four buddies'. They have been teaching me many new things like how to play with toys, and how to get the best treats...SIT...it works like a charm! I would make a great addition to any family because I am great with children and other dogs.
Since I have not been accustomed to living indoors for a while I will need a family that will work with me and understand that I may need some extra training. I won't make it difficult on my new family though because I really want to please and just a little bit of affection goes a long way with me. Please adopt me and help me complete my transformation from cold and lonely to comfy and content.
