Clementine's story is a sad one, but we vow that her life will certainly change for the better now that she is away from her former owner, a 'man' who claims no responsibility in choosing to dump her after several years of promising to care for her for life. This incredible dog has never looked back and immediately bonded with her new people. She has a commitment to love despite being failed.
Clementine is a queen of sorts, a true rottweiler beauty who is totally devoted to people, but who will also tolerate other dogs after a warm-up period. She lived with other dogs previously, has even been around cats and other animals, but a home with no small kids would be best. She is around 4-5 years old and 85 pounds. She is one happy dog! She rides great in the car, and loves long walks (which she failed to get at her last residence as her nails were entirely too long and had been neglected). She does well at bath time and was recently groomed- did we mention she was pretty filthy when we got her? She has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, on HW and flea prevention, and is ready to be in a loving home where someone will be committed to caring for her for LIFE. She is currently in a boarding facility where her rescuer is paying $300.00 a month for her care. We would appreciate donations to assist with this- we are a licensed not-for-profit group and monetary donations are tax deductible.
If you are interested in providing Clementine with a foster or forever home, please email us. New pictures are coming very soon, and we will update her biography as well. She has a complete love of life, is spunky and energetic, loves to snuggle in the bed, is ready to go and do at all times, and will be a suberb canine friend. Please consider her, and let us continue to rescue other deathrow dogs!!
