My story

Hi there!! My name is Rusty! Kind of perfect as that is my coats color too!

I just want to be your best buddy.  I am full of energy, play, fun and ready to go with you anywhere.  Car rides are a lot of fun as I am most happy not being left behind.  I walk easily on the leash when I go on walks with my foster sister with mom and wait patiently when my foster sister wants to investigate something.  I am a bit possessive of my toys, but learning to better share.  

I am crate and house trained. I’m working on my basic commands like SIT, DOWN, STAY so some basic obedience schooling would be fun to do. I look forward to meeting my right FOREVER home!

Rusty responds to love and patience and will need a kind, firm, alpha to help me be the best that he can be. He thrives on attention, will follow you anywhere and loves to make you happy. Rusty would do best with a large dog, preferable northern breed, and experienced owner and will need someone with who will take the time to pet, train and love me. No small animals such as chickens, rabbits or cats please though, pretty please! 

He is a Neutered Male, 1 year old, Housetrained, Crate Trained, Lead Trained, OK with Large Dogs but not sure at this point about Small dogs, has Rabies, DA2PP and Bordetella vaccinations, and  is current with Advantage for flea etc. control, and  he  is Microchipped.
