Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sage!
4-year-old Sage is sweet, smart, goofy, and such a snuggler. Her fosters are devastated to part with her, but they live in a city (Providence, RI) and believe she would be happiest in a home outside of the city where she can roam around the yard with her people.
ASF rescued Sage and several of her sisters from an abusive backyard breeder in TN, so this pup is resilient. Now that she’s getting spayed, she won’t ever have to worry about being a mom again!
Sage is about 40 lbs but could gain a little weight. She is kid and small animal tested and very happy to meet other dogs (but usually ignores them if she’s walking on a leash). She has a slight preference for greeting women, but absolutely adores her foster dad anyway. She’s learning not to jump on people when excited but will likely need to keep practicing. She’s an expert camper and loves long hikes, learning agility, and sleeping with you on the couch. She is food motivated, housebroken, and doesn’t bark, but she’ll groan at you when you leave the house for a while to express her disapproval!
She is truly a lover girl and deserves to live a long, happy, peaceful life with a forever family who wants an adventure buddy and devoted companion. She will be ready for adoption in late October when she has fully recovered from her spay procedure.
If Sage sounds perfect for you , please fill out the application. https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application
There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
