My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ace. Ace is an almost 3 year old (DOB 12/1/2020), 28 lb small Aussie. He is young and full of energy. When he wants to play fetch he will drop his toy in your lap whether you have time to play or not. He is so sweet it is hard to resist.

Ace thinks he is a cat and will climb onto your lap, and sometimes on the back of the chair. Another, “he is too cute” to be mad. He will jump on his foster mother’s lap, lay his head on her chest, and look up at her with those pleading eyes that say “Hug Me”. He gets along with other dogs, cats, and doesn’t seem interested in the foster mom’s birds. He is house broken and used the doggy door from day one. He likes his crate as long as the door is left open. He spends a lot of the evening just hanging out in his crate. Again, door open.

As a rule, he does not chew objects. The exception is if the crate door is closed he will reach through the bars and pull anything within reach into the crate. He pulled a blanket into the crate, but did not chew it. The paper, on the other hand, did not fare as well. Lol

Ace is a scaredy cat. New things will make him jump. When he encounters new people, he will bark as if to warn them to back off, but if the person just stands there, Ace will eventually walk up to the person and lick their hands. So much for a watch dog. Lol Ace is learning the basic commands, but it is still a work in progress. Someone is going to have a lot of fun with Ace.
