Imagine a tiny kitten with a heart full of curiosity and a name that promised magic...
Meet Houdini, the little cat with a talent for turning every moment into an adventure. Now a grown cat, he has left behind his knack for escape artistry, but his playful antics continue to charm all who meet him!
Houdini was found living under a deck in Lawrenceville with his mama and five siblings. They were brought inside at around eight weeks old and all six kittens were remarkably spicy, likely due to having never had any human interaction before.
Despite a scary start to life, Houdini is a sweet sweet boy who loves his pets and chin scratches. He gives a soft, polite little meow when he is ready for some attention. He has made great friends with his foster cat siblings and loves to cuddle up with them for bath time or run around the room for a wrestling session.
Houdini is an active cat who loves to play with any toys he finds as well as his cat friends. He works up quite the appetite and is always down for some snacks. Houdini would do best in a home with another playful cat for him to romp around with (maybe his adoptable brother, Eddie?). He might take a little while to warm up to his new home and new family but will soon become your best furry friend. He'd likely do just fine with older, respectful kiddos, but very young kids might still be a bit too scary for him.
Houdini is a little over a year old. He has been neutered, flea treated, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Please apply for this magical kitty today!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
