My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucky is a very good natured Lugnut! He knows how handsome he is with his wide jaw and high cheek bones but don’t hold that against him. He also knows how lucky he is to be alive! He was found with one of the worst wounds across his hind end the vet has ever seen. He went through surgery like a champion and is ready to live life again. The trauma affected his tail so he can’t raise it high but does give a “low wag”. Lugnut enjoys basking in the sun or running in the yard. He also loves a good nap on his favorite easy chair!

We have found his absolute favorite thing ever is water. On a hot day, he will march back and forth in the front of the hose. He will lounge in a baby pool rolling over and over cooling off his back. He plays with his toys in the pool and just loves having a place to cool off.

He is ripe for adventure, loading up in the car well and riding calmly to the next destination! He especially loves his pup cups! He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, but we recommend a meet and greet first. We don’t know how he is with cats. He does well in a crate/kennel for the night but needs time to release his playful energy during the day.

Lugnut is the gentlest treat taker we have ever seen! He will wait and not snatch it out of your hand. He’s so patient and such a good boy. Lugnut loves his toys and likes to play keep away from his humans. He gets so excited when he has a new toy, he will prance around with it just to make sure everyone knows he has it. Lugnut is possibly mixed with some pig as he makes snorting pig noises when he gets really fired up about his toys. He's a laugh a minute and you can't help but smile when you are around him.

He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on preventatives. He is being fostered in Seguin, TX.
