Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coco is a Husky/Collie mix who just turned 9 years old in June. She is spayed and microchipped. She is up to date on her vaccines and just had her annual health exam in August. She will need dental work, and she does have some arthritis in her hips. Coco is good off leash and understands “leave it” and will come when her name is called.
She has lived with cats and tolerates them – she does not when they get in her face. Coco has been fine with respectful and calm dogs when they come in her home. She has not spent a considerable amount of time with other dogs. She will bark at young children if they are too loud or run at her. She would do better in a home with no children.
She has a crate, but is not crated during the day-she goes in and out when she pleases. She is not destructive in the house, but will go into the bathroom garbage if the door is not closed.
She knows “sit”, “lay down”, “come”, “find your spot”, “crate”, “never mind”, “easy”, “Up,up” – she is allowed on our furniture and will sometimes wait to be told it’s ok to hop on the couch or bed. She never spends the whole night on our bed-just for a little cuddle from me and a little play from my husband and then she is gone.
Coco is very routine in her meals and walks and when she gets her supplements-she will remind us if we are running behind.
She is happiest with her people. We had an RV and even though she doesn’t really like summer, she was most peaceful there. She loves mini carrots, watermelon, she gets a teaspoon of yogurt in the morning and gets to lick the container when I am finished, she also enjoys pieces of apple. She loves the snow. She loves visits from people she knows. She loves being at the vet’s office. She is very hyper in the car and does not often settle.
Coco would do best in a quiet home with people that understand her and her little quirks. Someone that enjoys winter walks-we have longer walks in the winter. She is not a big fan of playing with toys – we’ve tried many different toys over the years and she is just not interested. As much as she loves being outside she does not like to be outside without her people. She needs people that will be patient with her and she does very well with routine.
