Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tala is the most adorable little German Shepherd mix. She may look like a pure bred dog, but when you see her in person, you will be surprised to see how cute and little she is! Only 30lbs at 6 months old. She's like a mini Shep :-)
Tala was originally found on the streets as a stray, along with her sibling Kaia, and that is how both of them ended up in our rescue.
She is currently being fostered in Ormond Beach, FL and is available on foster to adopt basis.
It is our requirement that her potential family has a friendly and confident dog at home, to help Tala with her fears. She is afraid of meeting new people and will try to hide unless you coax her to you with a treat or a toy but another dog (just like her foster fur brother) will be the reason she comes out of her shell. Once comfortable, this sweet girl loves to play tug of war and run around the yard playing. She is crate trained, housebroken and pending spay surgery. Her foster to adopt family must live within a reasonable distance of Daytona Beach as that is where her veterinarian is.
Tala's adoption fee is $250.
In order to meet Tala, you must submit a foster to adopt application via www.dbgsdrescue.org and pass a home visit.
