Kumar is an incredibly sweet, gentle companion who’s looking for someone who can give him the attention he deserves. Unfortunately, he was abandoned during the first weeks of his life before we got him, so he’s always had a little bit of separation anxiety. However, as he’s gotten older (turning 12 soon), his anxiety has gotten more pronounced to where he has frequent accidents in the house. It’s breaking our hearts to have to rehome him, but with 5 kids now under 7 years old, our attention is primarily on them, and we know his anxiety would be much better in a situation where he’s able to be given more one on one attention, taken on walks, and comforted in his anxious moments. He just saw the vet this month (10/2023) and he’s otherwise healthy. He’s never acted aggressively towards any kids, adults, or other animals. He’s a truly gentle, loving soul who deserves more focused attention than we can provide him at this stage in our lives.
