Chex is an 8 months old male shepherd mix pup who was rescued from a high kill Apple Valley, CA shelter on his last day of life where he was being euthanized for space after his stray hold was up. He was so excited to escape death he hugged a person who picked him up and wouldn’t let go. He was most grateful that his life was soared. He is now in search of a new beginning away from that terrible place.
Chex is as sweet as can be. He loves everyone and is always eager to make friends with new people. Plays well with other dogs. (Cats compatibility unknown). However the dog has an overall great demeanor with no hostile bone in him.
He is about 60 lbs, with long legs, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered. He would do great with an active person / family who can provide ample exercise. A yard is a plus. He is an indoor dog and loves to lounge indoors as well as run around outside. He still needs to learn some basic commands but he picks up Very quickly. A fast learner and is very responsive.
You can not find a friendlier pup than Chex.
