Introducing Mac, a resilient soul whose journey at Big Dog Ranch spans nearly three years. His past shadows him, found barely alive in a car trunk, ankles tied, enduring severe heat. Yet, Mac holds no resentment. The staff affectionately calls him "muscle man," a nod to his strength and sweetness. He revels in playtime with his canine companions and dreams of a spacious yard to call his own. Although Mac may be OK with other dogs, he can be a little selective and will need a proper introduction into a home with a resident dog. It's tough mastering all of your inside manners in a kennel setting, but Mac is keen to learn and please. He finds delight in toys, preferring the sturdy kind, as he's known to vanquish anything fluffy. Is there a chance you could provide the loving; permanent home Mac dreams of? After all he has been through, don 't you think he deserves that?

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
