Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Toby, a charming 9-year-old Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher mix who weighs just 10 pounds. This sweet, sensitive boy is looking for a patient and loving home where he can continue to build his confidence. Toby might take a little time to warm up to new faces and furry friends, but once he does, he’ll be your loyal shadow and devoted snuggle buddy.
Toby is mostly potty trained and loves curling up in bed with his foster mom, though he’s perfectly content resting in his crate when he’s home alone. While he’s not the most playful pup around other dogs, he tolerates their company and has even started bonding with a small dog in his foster home.
Toby does show some food resource guarding around other dogs, but he generally gets along well with most dogs. We’re not sure how he’d do with cats yet. Toby has met children and does well with dog-savvy kids.
If you’re seeking a faithful and affectionate companion who will thrive in a calm and understanding environment, Toby could be the perfect fit for you.
To learn more about Toby or to arrange a meeting, please complete an application on our website: https://bit.ly/4bCFkXz. Toby is currently being fostered in Cambridge.
Note: Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable, so we primarily describe our dogs based on their unique personalities rather than breed labels. We also encourage all adopters to enroll their new dogs in formal training classes. These classes are a great way to bond with your new pet, enhance your training skills, and ensure a smooth transition for both of you.
