My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SARA is one sweet little lady! She truly is an angel and just wants to be loved 24/7. Her foster mom says that SARA completely melts her heart! This 3.5 year old sweet girl loves attention and affection. SARA is potty trained, knows how to walk on a leash, and knows her "kennel command. She loves her crate as it gives her a sense of comfort and safety. At mealtime, SARA will sit and wait patiently to be fed as she wiggles with excitement! She knows "sit and is working on "down and "stay.

SARA loves to be able to jump up into bed with you and cuddle. She is a professional cuddler! She is great with dogs, cats, and enjoys her playtime with her fur foster brothers and sisters. SARA is 100% a lover and just needs kindness, patience, and reassurance that she can trust you. SARA loves people and would most likely do fine with any family, but a family with older children may be most suitable for her.

SARA's foster mom has spent a lot of time socializing her and bringing people into the home to interact with her. Because of all of this time and attention, SARA has blossomed so much and is now ready for a home of her very own.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
