Introducing Kitana, a captivating and high-energy young female shepherd mix who embarked on her journey to Big Dog Ranch after being found as a stray puppy and winding up at a high-kill shelter in Georgia. Kitana's soulful eyes tell a story of both hardship and hope. Despite her tumultuous past and waiting almost a year for someone to discover her, she still exudes a deep affection that yearns for connection and companionship.

Kitana's heart is brimming with a longing to play with other dogs, and a desire to hear those cherished words: "You're a good girl." In her eyes, there's a world of love waiting to be shared with a family who will cherish and appreciate her unwavering loyalty and affection. If you have another dog currently, Kitana is very likely to get along and be friends. If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
