Arriving Nov 26 from Barbados

Eleanor was found by her rescuers wandering the streets - very hungry. With some love and attention we are proud to report that she has opened up to become a shining star - enthusiastic, and loving!

Eleanor is full of fun. She gets excited when she sees her humans, and wants to give love to everyone she meets! She's still learning her manners, and can jump up to greet people. This superstar has even had experience walking on a leash, and does very well!

Eleanor is not very picky about her new family. As she has never lived in a home environment before, she will need a family who understands that she will need all basic training upon arrival. Although her rescuers have not had any issues with Eleanor trying to escape, a high fence would be beneficial for her, as her jumping skills are Olympic-worthy! She would do best with older children as she does jump with excitement, and would do well as a second dog as well. Eleanor has not been tested with cats.
