Hi, World. My name is Ashley, and I am looking for a new home. I can’t really talk about my past but I know that I was rescued from a shelter along with my adorable family of six kittens. I was a good mom and did the best I could but one of my babies died. Maine Coon Rescue gave us all a second chance at life, and I am thankful that my surviving babies all got good homes. Now it’s my turn. I am shy so you have to win me over; I prefer approaching you, and it might take some time. I adore being petted, and you don’t have to put forth much effort. Put your hand out, and I will move back and forth so I am petted from the top of my head to the tip of my tail. I get along fine with dogs and other cats but I usually play alone. I like chasing shadows and laser dots. I am not picky about food and use the litter box very well. My foster mom adores me – I can tell because she tells me so every day but she wants me to have my very own family. Can I join yours?

p.s - The third picture is of me hunkering down in a cage at the shelter praying for someone to help me - not one of my better moments but you can see how I have blossomed!
