Sassafras came to rescue with the name "Sassy" which, once her foster got to know her, seemed appropriate. Sassafras has spunk and spirit and enjoys her life as if she really knows she escaped a high kill shelter. Sassafras loves to play and can entertain herself endlessly with anything involving a ball especially the ones she can bat around the circle. Likewise, she welcomes another kitty on the the other side who will play ball with her. 

Sassafras has a pixie face that can melt the heart. If she were human, she would probably be referred to as the "girl next door". She is adorable, playful  and affectionate with a curious streak. Sassafras will do well with children, cat friendly dogs and others cats. Will you be the one who invites her over to "play ball" ?

Adoption Fee - $175 includes combo test (neg/neg), spay, rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, dewormed and flea preventative. She also comes with a complimentary microchip registered to Maine Coon Rescue.
