Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Late in the evening a man brought a box of four five-week-old kittens to AALOC. He said they were from the Norm Reeves Honda parking lot. Employees had been monitoring them and noticed the momma cat had not come back for hours so the concerned man brought them to AALOC. They were taken to the vet to be checked out and boarded for the night. An amazing volunteer foster picked them up the next day. Four days later there was a knock on the door at the AALOC humane center. It was the wife of the man who originally brought the four kittens. She had a fifth litter mate. This other kitten had been separated from the litter and alone for almost four days! We are so happy he survived on his own! He too was examined by our vet and then rejoined his litter mates with the compassionate foster caring for the group.
We named the kittens after the Cheers TV show: There is Norm, Sam, Carla, Cliff and Frasier (the kitten that was found last). Norm, Sam, Cliff and Frasier are handsome male orange tabbies. Carla, the only female, is a brown and black mackerel tabby.
Please apply to adopt Cliff (and one or more of his siblings if you can!) at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Cliff and get to know him a bit.
Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies visit our cat adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.
