Marigold is the perfect name for this gorgeous girl. Marigold is bright orange and golden long hair tabby mix She has the cutest little pale pink nose. She is approximately 9 months old. Marigold is very friendly, affectionate, and outgoing. She enjoys the companionship of all adults who have visited her foster home. She has not been around children. She will follow you from room to room and meow and chatter to you. Although her foster home has 5 other cats, Marigold will want to be the ONLY apple of your eye! She is very assertive and mildly aggressive towards other cats. (Often she will settle in calmly with one of the resident cats, but if I give one of them attention over her, she will swat, hiss or even chase them away. It's funny to see her chase our 16 pound older cat!) After being abandoned, a home where she can be given your fullest attention and be the main focus will be preferable. In other words, she should be the ONLY cat in your home. With people, she is super friendly and affectionate. As Marigold is under 1 year of age, she is quite the energetic and playful girl and still gets the evening zoomies! She loves her cat tunnel, laser toy and enjoys lounging on a chair or cat tree. (she does not enjoy the sound of the sweeper or handheld mini vac) She will gently tap your legs or feet when you pass by to signal that it is playtime, but has never put her claws out. She currently will only eat only dry cat food, but we are experimenting daily to see what type of canned food she may like. This kitty is smart and will come to you when you call her name. Marigold would love to be your main squeeze and close companion. Marigold is living at her foster home in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Adopters should be within 200 miles of Buckhannon, West Virginia.
