My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

1 year old blue tabby pedigreed Maine coon girl

Cheyenne is a 1-year-old, blue-patched tabby, pedigreed Maine coon girl from a Russian cattery. She is very friendly and LOVES people. She also gets along with other cats and dogs.  Cheyenne is a very playful girl and loves to play with the other kitties in her foster home. She also loves to sleep with her foster mom at night at the foot of the bed. She can be a very silly girl at times and loves skidding across the flooring just for fun. Cheyenne will do best in a home with other kitties where she can have playmates. Her fur is beautiful and soft. She loves being held like a baby. And has no problem with you trimming her nails.

Cheyenne is food oriented and prefers to eat at her own dish.  She will eat her food first and then go chase other cats out of their food bowl, usually by using her front paw to pull that bowl toward her. It is best if you can feed her by herself and let other cats eat their food first before letting Cheyenne out. She is never mean nor does she vocalize or growl to get at the other cats' food.

She does have stomatitis and has had all but her canine teeth (fangs) pulled. She still has some redness in her gums from this.  When she came to the US from Russia, she also had a terrible upper respiratory infection that was difficult to clear up. She still has some residual left from that with a bit of drainage in her left nostril. It has improved a) by having her teeth extracted and b) by giving her a teaspoon of super lysine powder (mixed into wet food) every day. She loves this and thinks it is her morning treat. As an adopter, you must be willing to continue this. Additionally, you must recognize that Cheyenne will need a dental every year on her remaining teeth and that in the future due to her stomatitis she may need these teeth pulled.

Adoption Fee - $325.00 includes spay, combo test (neg/neg/neg), rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative and a microchip registered to Maine Coon Rescue.
