My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raven is a gorgeous, black and white Labrador Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Raven is approximately two years old and weighs forty-five pounds. Raven was abandoned when her family moved. Raven can be dog selective and requires a fenced yard with a six-foot fence. Raven has a friendly disposition, but she requires someone who has experience setting boundaries for dogs and holding dogs accountable, in a non-abusive, consistent, and effective manner. When Raven understands what's expected of her, she is a wonderful well natured dog and a great companion. Raven needs some leash training for walks outside of the yard. She self sooths by jumping on a trampoline. The foster will adopt her with her trampoline. Raven is housetrained. Mature kids over twelve would be ok.

Apply on CrisisDogsNC.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet reference and virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard, but this is not required for all our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
