My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arya came to the shelter on December 19th, 2022, due to her owner no longer being able to afford her care. She was then she was adopted and returned to the shelter because of issues with another dog. Arya is a sweetheart and once she gets to know you will expect all the belly rubs you have to offer. She loves rolling around in the grass. Arya absolutely loves all toys and most of the time she loves them a little too much and ends up destroying them. She also loves to play fetch! Miss Arya loves to go for walks and is small but mighty when it comes to being on leash. She does tend to make a bit of a mess in her kennel so potty training is going to be a must, but she is a smart girl and will most likely get the hang of it pretty quickly. Arya has been kid tested and seems to be good with children ages 10 and up, but as always should always be under supervision and never left alone. Arya does not get along with other animals whether they are cats or dogs, because of this she will have to be the only pet in the house.
Arya is a very sweet lady, and her ideal home would be in calmer home with people who like to lounge on the couch and give belly rubs all day.
If you think Arya would be a great addition to your household, please apply or call for more information.

Additional adoption info

We try to have a thorough process that ensures animals are placed in loving homes that are capable of caring for the animal. We have an application that requires references and we interview both the references and the applicants, before we place a pet.
