My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the delightful Penelope, born in November 2022 after her momma, temporarily surrendered by a homeless lady, was unable to care for her and 10 other puppies. Penelope is an outgoing and playful pup who takes things in stride and is laid back. Weighing 35 pounds, like her momma, she's well-behaved, good-natured, and friendly with both dogs and cats. Penelope loves being talked to and is ready to be your best buddy and loving companion. Her momma, a Boxer/Pittie mix, and the puppies are vetted, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and come with a recent health certificate. Penelope is seeking her forever person or family. If interested, check our website: https://serendipityanimalrescue.org.

Now, let's introduce the beautiful Luna, born in November 2022 under similar circumstances. Luna, like her sibling Penelope, is active, sweet, and laid-back, weighing 35 pounds. Raised in a dog-friendly and cat-friendly environment, she's well-behaved and good-natured. Luna is inquisitive, wanting to know everybody, and she's ready to be your best buddy and loving companion. Just like Penelope, Luna and her siblings are vetted, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and have a recent health certificate. Luna is on the lookout for her new forever person or family. If interested, check our website: https://serendipityanimalrescue.org.

Since most of our dogs are fostered, we take them to the potential adopter's home or convenient location.

For the animals located in PA many of the meet and greets are done at the kennel.

More about this rescue

Find abandoned dogs a forever loving home, one person or family, one dog, and one home at a time.

We are a foster-based all-volunteer rescue. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters and find them their new forever homes.

All our dogs are spayed or neutered except for puppies under nine months old, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative or treated for heartworm infection, and microchipped.

We believe every dog, cat, and critter has a purpose and deserves life, to be treated humanely, to feel love, to know compassion, and be happy, and most of all, to be family. After all, they bring all those qualities to people. We learn much from them as they displayed every time such unconditional love and selflessness qualities, which we reinforce with security and independence to express their true self as a loyal companion and forever friend.
