My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the lovely Margo, whose journey began when her mother fell victim to a car accident. Her rescuer provided tender care, bottle-feeding her until she reached independence in eating.

However, during this period, Margo encountered Distemper and faced neglect in a hoarding situation with her previous foster family, before finding her way to our rescue. Despite a challenging start, Ms. Margo has exhibited remarkable resilience as a fighter. Building trust with new people may take time, understandable given her past, but once she does, she transforms into a playful, affectionate, and amusing best friend.

Margo is characterized by her playful nature, intelligence, responsiveness to food/treats, and friendliness towards dogs. Fully house and crate-trained, she is ready for a family to call her own.

More about this rescue

Find abandoned dogs a forever loving home, one person or family, one dog, and one home at a time.

We are a foster-based all-volunteer rescue. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters and find them their new forever homes.

All our dogs are spayed or neutered except for puppies under nine months old, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative or treated for heartworm infection, and microchipped.

We believe every dog, cat, and critter has a purpose and deserves life, to be treated humanely, to feel love, to know compassion, and be happy, and most of all, to be family. After all, they bring all those qualities to people. We learn much from them as they displayed every time such unconditional love and selflessness qualities, which we reinforce with security and independence to express their true self as a loyal companion and forever friend.
