Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nick is a lovable, gentle dog who really wants a human buddy to call his own. Nick is a little shy, especially around men. We think he was mistreated by a man at some time in his life. Nick warms up to females once he gets to know them, and is very comfortable with children. Nick is learning he can trust humans and that not all men are mean. He probably spent most of his life tied up outside and didn't get much attention. Nick's favorite treat is apples, and he loves playing ball, going for walks, and just being around the people he feels safe with. Nick gets along well with other pets, is up to date on all his shots, already neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and is currently on heartworm preventative. Nick is a real sweetheart who just needs a patient and kind friend. He is extremely affectionate and very willing to please. He will no doubt make a great companion for that special someone.
Nick is not at a shelter. All Safe Hounds Beagles are cared for in a loving foster home. Prospective adopters MUST submit an adoption application before meeting our dogs. Please email us for more information about adopting a Beagle friend and to request an adoption application.
