My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ratatouille, a delightful feline with a heart as warm as the dish he's named after. His past may be a mystery, he was found homeless, hanging out by Popeye's Fried Chicken, but his personality is as clear as day - sweet, friendly, curious, and funny. He's the sort of cat who'll greet you with a purr and a nuzzle when you come home from a long day, he is quite the lover boy. He'll make you laugh with his funny antics, chasing after a beam of light or a stray thread. Despite his friendly nature, Ratatouille is still waiting for a forever home. Adopt Ratatouille and bring a ray of sunshine into your life. His sweet nature and funny antics will brighten up your days and give you a companion who's always ready for a new adventure.

More about this shelter

We are located in South Mississippi, but travel up the east coast regularly (every 3 to 4 weeks) with pre-adopted animals.Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.Dixie Adoptables is a 501c3 rescue
