My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boris, a cat who knows the art of winning hearts. His sweet and friendly nature will make you fall in love with him instantly. Boris is not just a cat, he's a bundle of joy, a loyal friend, and a constant companion. He has a funny side too, always up to something that will make you chuckle. Boris demands attention, but not without giving back loads of affection. He is super affectionate, always ready to cuddle and purr his way into your heart. Boris is not just looking for a home, he's looking for a family to share his love and loyalty with. If you're looking for a companion who will bring sweetness, laughter, and loyalty into your life, Boris is the one. Adopt Boris, let him fill your home with love and joy.

More about this shelter

Dixie Adoptables is a 501c3 rescue, operating the Lucedale Animal Shelter in Lucedale, MS. We travel up to the north monthly with all of our adopted pets.
Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.
