My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Potato Chip, a young feline resident of our rescue. This little guy is a bundle of love and loyalty. Despite his shy nature, he's always ready for a playful romp or a quiet cuddle. His mellow demeanor is the perfect antidote to a stressful day. Potato Chip may be a bit reserved at first, but once he warms up to you, he's all purrs and play. He's got a heart as big as his name, filled with sweetness and affection. Potato Chip would make a wonderful addition to any family. His loyalty, playfulness, and sweet disposition make him the perfect companion. Adopt Potato Chip and let him fill your life with love and joy.

More about this shelter

Dixie Adoptables is a 501c3 rescue, operating the Lucedale Animal Shelter in Lucedale, MS. We travel up to the north monthly with all of our adopted pets.
Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.
