Hi, I’m Doja Cat! I was out on those mean streets as a tiny kitten and was picked up by Animal Control after I was hit by a car. I wasn't physically hurt but I was super scared and unsure what was going on. I was transferred to BTKR and then my foster Mom brought me home! I was so scared and I didn't want anyone to touch me, as I had also been through a surgery to be spayed too early and was still recovering. My foster Mom and family continued to show me love and gave my pets slowly as I would allow. I soon learned that I liked the pets and the love, but I am still a little scared when approached too quickly.
I get along with everyone in my foster home, including the other foster kittens, my foster Mom and Dad, and their 3 children (2 teens and 1 pre-teen, age 12). I love to chase and tackle my brother Busta Rhymes - it’s so much fun hiding and sneaking up on him! My favorite sleeping place is in my kitty bed with him. He’s my best friend and we must be adopted together!
I love rattling toys, springs and wands! My favorite activity is playing with my brother and jumping and chasing anything on a wand! I also love those bum scratches!! They feel SOOO good! I love my Fancy Feast Gravy wet food but also love my Purina One kitten chow, and let’s not forget those yummy, delicious Temptations kitten treats!
I seem a little scared and stand off-ish at first but don't let that fool you, once I trust you, I will love you and let you love me. I love to lick your hands and give them a good grooming! I don't really like to be held right now, but once I get comfortable, I will crawl up in your lap and let you love me and I will love you back! My foster Mom just asks that you give me time to get familiar with my surroundings, approach me slowly and soon I will rub all over you, purr so loud and want all the loves you can give me!
