Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rouge had been wandering among restaurants on Irvington Blvd. for several weeks eating the scraps the employees left for her. Her time was running out as they had called BARC to pick her up but posted begging someone to take her. As luck would have it she wandered into a business and right up to the perfect person. A dog lover! He took her home and is now fostering her for adoption.
Rouge has seen the vet and other than being underweight and picking up some hitchhiking parasites, she is in good shape. She is still just a puppy at 7-8 mos old but has a demeanor of an older dog. She is quiet and respectful, but loves to play with her housemates. She does not jump or try to run away, and this may be due to the shepherd dilution. She ignores the 6 house cats and loves the 3 year old little boy at the home. Even our vet, who never smiles, giggled and was smitten with her. Rouge is just the perfect dog!
She is HW negative and still needs to have her spay. Please contact nod2016dog@gmail.com if you are interested in completing an application or meeting Rouge.
