Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barleys adoption fee is $0 thanks to a sponsorship from Schlafly Beer.
Hello there! My name is Barley, and I'm eagerly waiting to find my forever home and become your furry best friend. I'm a lovable mixed breed dog with a charming personality and a heart full of love to give to my human and canine friends!
At just 3 years old, I am bursting with intelligence and enthusiasm. I have a brindle coat with white socks that make me quite the eye-catcher. With my medium/large-sized build, I'm the perfect balance between cuddly and active.
I am the perfect mix of playful and loving! I love hiking through nature, playing fetch with my favorite toy, and relaxing on my doggie bed! I know lots of commands and am eager to learn more! I know I will be putting a smile on your face day after day! Can I become a part of your family?
If you're interested in meeting Barley, please visit our website to learn about our adoption process and to fill out an application, www.gatewaypets.org/adopt
All of our dogs and cats will be micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption. For more photos of Barley, follow us on Facebook Gateway Pet Guardians and Instagram @gatewaypets ... #gpgBarley.

Gateway Pet Guardians is proud to offer a variety of mixed breed dogs available for adoption. However, please keep in mind that we rarely know the genetic background of the animals we rescue and, as such, we cannot guarantee the exact breed combinations found within this dog. However, we do not know his/her actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal.
