My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Santana is a former street kitty with such a sweet soul. He was thin and had an eye infection so his caregiver decided he needed a better life. It took him a few months to decide that he liked the indoor life and now he's very affectionate, often reaching out to the volunteers for attention. He's not much for playing with toys, preferring to watch birds outside the window and nap in high places. Santana seems to like other cats and with slow introductions, he would enjoy a cat friend in his new home. The outdoor life has made him cautious around dogs but it's possible he will learn to accept a resident dog as long as it is calm and doesn't bark at or chase him. He tends to swat at people when he has had enough petting so may not be a good fit for young children. He is a calm, quiet kitty with so much affection to give.
