I'm Luke Duke, an exuberant and affable lab mix. I began my journey from an Alabama shelter to find my forever-loving home in October 2023. I'm still less than 2 years old and I'm hoping to celebrate my 2nd birthday in my own home. "After getting used to life at Big Dog Ranch, I have radiated a sense of tenderness and warmth, creating a comforting and inviting presence to all. My friendly nature makes me a delight to be around. Not only am I an affectionate companion, but I also easily get along with other friendly dogs, forming seamless companionship for any who wish to be my friend. My leash etiquette is impeccable, ensuring enjoyable strolls for both of us. My zest for life extends beyond walks; I revel in water and delight in playful splashes. I also enjoy toys and playtime with my people. When it's time to unwind, I eagerly indulge in cuddling, sharing my abundant warmth and affection. I am patiently waiting to become an adored member of your family, infusing love, and unforgettable moments, whether in the great outdoors or the embrace of cozy cuddle sessions. If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
