Hi there! I'm Lovable Lucy, a 3-year-old black Lab with soulful puppy dog eyes. I found my way to Big Dog Ranch Rescue from a high-kill shelter in Georgia. Despite a tough start in life, I am ready to put that all behind me and look towards the future. I'm a sweet and somewhat submissive girl with boundless energy and an infectious joy for life.
I'm dreaming of a home with a nice yard where I can run around freely and enjoy all my favorite toys. But you know what would make it even better? If my new family could join in on the fun cuz I don't want to play alone! I'd love to play fetch, tug-of-war, or just run around with you. I have a special love for playing with the water hose-it's one of my favorite ways to cool off on a hot day and have a blast!
I'm not just dog-friendly, but I'm also a pro at walking on a leash, making our outdoor adventures even more enjoyable. And when it's time to wind down, I'm always up for some cuddle sessions. I am sure to be an affectionate, loving companion who brings joy and laughter to your home.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
