My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mavis, a young and resilient female Hound who is now a year and a half old and whose journey to Big Dog Ranch Rescue is a heartwarming tale of healing and transformation. Mavis was found running the streets of Alabama as a puppy, burdened by a painful skin infection that left her without fur. Mavis is Shy and suspicious initially, but warms up & is ecstatic when she recognizes the people who provided her with love and care helping her make a
remarkable recovery. She now proudly displays a healthy coat of fur. Mavis's heart is filled with warmth, and she's eager to share her love and affection with everyone she encounters. Currently working on mastering basic training, her determination shines brightly, and she's also diligently becoming kennel trained and learning the art of leash walking. "Mavis's warm and welcoming nature makes her a perfect match for other sociable dogs. If you're seeking a sweet, affectionate, fun-loving, and determined companion ready to embrace a life filled with love and care, Mavis is ready to bring joy and warmth into your life. Make sure you fill the toy basket too because she loves her toys. Mavis is waiting for that special person to welcome her into their life and let her loving spirit and enthusiasm brighten your days.
