My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tiffany! Tiffany was left tied to a post outside the home of one of DRWB’s foster and volunteers. Poor Tiffany was scared and hungry. She was very dirty and had lots of mats. Initially she was very cautious when interacting with her rescuer and new foster, but after a few days she fell in love with her foster mom. She needs space and patience and time to feel safe and loved in a new home, because she may be aggressive and react out of fear. Once she knows she can trust you, she is very sweet and loving.

After her rescue she was immediately taken to the vet and now she is a healthy girl, fixed, up to date with her shots, dewormed, and teeth cleaning was done as well.

Tiffany is medium energy. She LOVES to play fetch with her favorite tennis ball in the backyard. She gets super excited when she sees the leash! She really loves to go out on walks. She would be the perfect companion for someone who works from home and likes to take walks during the day.
She gets along with other dogs and is social to humans that demonstrate love to her.

She lives indoors but has access to a patio. She is housetrained. She sleeps in her doggy bed placed in a crate with the door open. She has no problems sharing her food with other dogs. Tiffany is sweet and friendly. This girl deserves to go to a family who will love and care for her for the rest of her life. She was neglected for many years already. She has to go to a loving family.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Step 1
Fill application at our website

Step 2
Submit your adoption application to us. It may take a few days before your application is processed and you receive a response back.

Step 3
If your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a "Meet & Greet".

If we have an upcoming adoption event.

We will set a time for you to come meet the dog that day, usually on Saturdays. Please make sure you take any family members and other dogs to see how the initial introduction goes.

If we DON’T have an upcoming adoption event.

And you have other dogs:
We will schedule to meet you, any family members, and other dogs near your home first; this makes the entry into the new home easier for the dog and for your family.

And you don’t have any other dogs:
We will schedule to meet you and any family members at your home.

Step 4
Meet your prospective new pet. Spend time with them and see how it goes.

Step 5
If your "Meet & Greet" goes well and you wish to adopt; you will complete an adoption contract at the appointment. We ask for a suggested adoption donation to help us cover spay/neutering, shots, medical treatment, food, supplies and temporary care. These suggested donation amounts only partially cover the cost of expenses involved. Your donation is tax deductible. It’s that easy!

Step 6
Take your new best friend home! Congratulations – you have saved a special life.

What if the adoption doesn't work out?
You can return any of our dogs as we don't want to see them turned into a shelter. The application process helps prevent such an issue, so it's very important that you are honest when answering the questions.

Not all dogs are compatible in all situations, so it is imperative that you are forthright in the application process to find the right match. However, be sure you are ready to make a full commitment to adopting a dog, whether a puppy or an adult.

It can take up to a few weeks for a dog to really adjust to his/her new environment. A lot really depends on the dog's past so the prospect of adopting should be well-thought-out & the commitment should be taken seriously.

Go meet their pets

Our pets are all cared for in foster homes. While in foster care, their foster family is making sure they receive lots of tender loving care and have any veterinary needs taken care of. This also gives the foster family an opportunity to learn about the dog's personality, so we can better assist you in selecting a dog that will be the best fit for you and your family.
